Story from Aarhus City Plan lecture the other day.
One thing I noticed about Denmark : There are babies / kids everywhere!!
My father mentioned that too when he was visiting Denmark, so it must be obvious.
It’s pretty amazing actually. I see a lot of Danish families with 3 kids. In Japan, almost all of my friends have only 1 – or 2, max.
Unfortunately Japan is having a problem of low birth rate, I found this number for average childrens in Denmark and Japan .
|Denmark||1.73 children born/woman (2016 est.)|
|Japan||1.41 children born/woman (2016 est.)|
Here are the 20 lowest birth rate countries : births/1,000 population
Sad irony is that Baby-Bell won’t be ringing so much in Japan. But in Denmar? Probably not a good idea – in a good way.
I hope Japan will find a solution for this problem. 🙁 It’s not fun looking at my country less and less…..
